College Student Services

Our Therapeutic Approaches

College is a time of growth and change. We use evidence-based therapies tailored to each student’s values and needs. Treatment is collaborative and flexible, adapting as you move through different stages of college. Ongoing feedback helps us track progress and adjust care so it continues to support meaningful, lasting growth.

College is a unique season of identity, change, and growth. We will help you connect with your individuality and strengths, using them to navigate challenges and move toward growth, resilience, and clarity.

CBT

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

We help individuals understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact, and identify patterns that may be getting in the way of their goals. Building on each person's strengths, CBT provides practical strategies to respond to emotions, manage unhelpful thinking styles, and support meaningful behavior change.

ACT

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy

Encourages acceptance, mindfulness, and values-based action. ACT helps young people build psychological flexibility to move toward a meaningful life aligned with what matters to them.

DBT

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

DBT supports the development of emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. Through practical, evidence-based skills, adults can learn to navigate intense emotions, build self-confidence, and respond to life's challenges and transitions with greater flexibility and resilience.

Collaboration

Our approach to care is grounded in collaboration, respect, and partnership. We work closely with each individual to understand their goals, strengths, and experiences, and to develop a treatment plan that feels meaningful and achievable. We offer recommendations based on our clinical expertise while recognizing that you are the expert on your own life. Together, we adapt and refine our approach based on your feedback, preferences, and evolving needs. When appropriate and with your permission, we may collaborate with other providers or supports involved in your care to help ensure coordinated, comprehensive treatment.

Affirming Care

We celebrate diversity and are committed to fostering an inclusive, affirming environment that honors the unique experiences, identities, strengths, and perspectives each person brings.

We believe everyone deserves to feel safe, understood, and respected. Our goal is to create a collaborative space where individuals can explore their strengths and challenges, share their goals and values, and feel empowered to make meaningful change.

What We Support

As a college student, you may be navigating an important period of social, emotional, behavioral, and academic development. You might be facing a specific concern or a range of challenges—we’re here to support your growth as both an emerging adult and a student.

You do not need a specific diagnosis to seek support. We work with individuals who have a diagnosed condition as well as those navigating stressors, transitions, or challenges unique to the college experience.
