Accessibility

Effective Date: September 9, 2026

Three Willows is committed to making our website, communication, and services accessible, welcoming, and usable for people with a wide range of abilities and needs.

We view accessibility as an ongoing practice. We consider accessibility in how we design our website, communicate with clients, and provide care. We aim to reduce unnecessary barriers and make information as clear, transparent, and understandable as possible.

Website Accessibility

We work to make our website accessible and easy to navigate. This includes using clear headings and navigation, readable text and appropriate color contrast, descriptive links and buttons, alternative text for meaningful images, and accessible forms and interactive features.

We also aim to use straightforward language, organize information clearly, and provide information about our services, processes, and expectations as transparently as possible.

Because our website is continually changing and technology continues to evolve, some content or features may not yet be fully accessible to every visitor. Accessibility is an ongoing process, and we are committed to identifying and addressing barriers as they arise.

Please note, some features or services linked to or accessed through our website are provided by third-party platforms. While we seek to use services that support accessibility, we may not control the accessibility of third-party websites or applications.

Accessibility and Individualized Care

Accessibility can involve formal accommodations, but it also includes the many ways we can reduce barriers to participating in care. People differ in how they communicate, process information, learn, regulate, and participate in care. Our clinical approach is individualized, and we may make reasonable adjustments to communication, pacing, structure, materials, or the manner in which services are provided based on the individual’s needs and preferences, when clinically appropriate and reasonably feasible.

Whenever reasonably possible, we aim to offer choices and flexibility rather than assuming that one approach will work for everyone.

Accessing Our Services

Depending on individual needs, the nature of the service, clinical appropriateness, and reasonable feasibility, we may be able to support access through:

  • Sensory and environmental supports, such as adjustments to lighting, seating, or the use of fidgets and other comfort items.

  • Physical access, including discussing entryway or mobility needs in advance.

  • Flexible ways of participating, such as incorporating movement, breaks, or other supports when working with children.

  • Different communication and clinical approaches, such as communicating in writing rather than by phone or verbally when practical, using more direct or structured communication, visual or interactive materials, or allowing additional time to process information.

  • Accessible information and forms, including providing written or printed materials when practical, reviewing forms together, or assisting with forms when completing them independently presents a barrier.

  • Telehealth flexibility, including consideration of camera-off participation when appropriate for the service and circumstances.

  • Clear expectations and communication, including providing information about what to expect and communicating directly about next steps.

  • Our practice uses electronic systems, including electronic forms, secure client communication, and a client portal, as an important part of providing care. We recognize that these systems may not work equally well for everyone. If using an electronic system creates an access barrier, please let us know so we can discuss available alternatives or support.

These examples are not an exhaustive list. Accessibility needs vary from person to person, and we welcome conversations about what may help you or your child participate in care. We will work with you to identify reasonable and appropriate ways to support access to our services, consistent with clinical, legal, and operational requirements.

Feedback and Support

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on our website or in accessing our services, please contact us. You do not need to use technical accessibility terminology or know exactly what accommodation to request. Simply let us know what you are having difficulty accessing or what would make the process easier. Requests for accessibility support will be considered on an individualized basis.
